and workshop on the basics of home visitation and biblical concepts of leadership at the south wing of the library building.
Ms. Cathlyne Peñaflorida, an alumna of CPAC and a former missionary of the 1000 Missionary Movement, gave a talk on how to conduct house−to−house visitations. Ms. Ruby Campos, the organizer of the club, shared biblical concepts of leadership.
In the afternoon, the members with their sponsors, went to Brgy. Alegria for their practicum. Applying what they have learned in the seminar, they visited houses and gave religious tracts concerning the Adventist faith. They also sang songs and offered prayers to the household they have visited.
Upon returning to the campus, they shared their reflections and experiences on their activities.
The SALT club, which was organized last school year, began in East Visayan Academy (EVA) in Cebu and was adopted by Ms. Campos and the other sponsors of the club here in the campus. It responses to Jesus’ bidding to become “salts of the earth” Matthew 5:13.
