Who We Are

Central Philippine Adventist College is a private educational Christian college in Alegria, Murcia, Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is a part of the Seventh-day Adventist education system, the world’s second-largest Christian school system. The college is fully accredited by the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities-Accrediting Agency, Inc. (ACSCU-AAI), the Adventist Accrediting Agency (AAA) of the General Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the Department of Education of Southern Asia Pacific Division.

Philosophy

God is the Creator and Source of all knowledge, revealed in the Bible, and conveyed in full through His Son, Jesus Christ, whose plan of salvation is the aim of true education.

Core Values

The core values, using CHRIST as an acronym, unite CPAC community despite its varied personal preferences, values and priorities, beliefs and practices into one corporate commitment towards accomplishing its mission and vision. These core values define “who we are as an institution” and the principles every employee, student, and alumnus/alumna should demonstrate in all his/her undertakings inside and outside the institution.

COMPETENCE is the state or quality of being capable of doing one’s task in a skillful manner that exceeds the minimum standards, not in haphazard way but faithful to the kind of training and labor upon which the worker is called upon by God to His field of labor.

HUMILITY means being modest, willing to serve others that which demonstrates self-abasement, lack of pride, and having self-respect that renounces haughtiness or arrogance.

RESPECT feels or shows esteem and politeness, with willingness to demonstrate consideration or appreciation on another’s behalf.

INTEGRITY shows a unified life in which one’s beliefs and convictions match with one’s actions, he be in the dark or in the light. Whether one is being seen or unseen his true color is WHITE. Integrity encompasses honesty, authenticity, and trustworthiness of a person.

SELF-SACRIFICE signifies the quality of work or labor that is rendered to God or to the institution established by God, exercising thus, as a prerogative not counting the time and effort nor overlapping over personal vested interest.

TEAM WORK is the cooperative effort by the members of a team to achieve a common goal. “Godliness, godlikeness is the goal to be reached.”

Central Philippine Adventist College is committed to attaining the following mission statements:

1. To instill Christian love through acts of kindness, helpfulness and compassion;

2. To teach obedience to the laws of one’s country when such laws do not conflict with the laws of God;

3. To put emphasis on the dignity of labor and its values;

4. To encourage participation in outreach programs intended to meet the physical and spiritual needs of the communities;

5. To instill the culture of excellence in all academic programs and co-curricular and extra-curricular activities;
