Joyette Ann Mindoro – Jugalbot hails from the marble country – of San Agustin, Romblon. The fourth child of Mr. & Mrs. Ruben Mindoro. She went to CPAC to study nursing after high school graduation, which she graduated in March 2002. Her batch name in nursing is Dien Deo Juvante. After passing the Licensure Examination for Nurses, she was accepted as a staff nurse at Philippine Philippine Heart Center (PHC) from January 2003 until October 2008. That same month and year, she was promoted as head nurse to March 2021. Then she became the OIC –Division Chief of Medical-Surgical 2 and ER from March 2021 to July 2021. Moreover, from July 2021 to January 15, 2022, she was appointed as the Division Chief in the said areas. But before receiving her award as Model Supervisor, she was transferred to another division to manage with the same title as Division Chief of ER, OPD, and Diagnostic Areas.

During the celebration of PHC’s 47th anniversary, February 14, 2022, she received an award as Model Supervisor in the clinical division. She started working at PHC when she was 23 years old, not knowing what the future holds for her in that hospital. She said, “I just prayed to God that He would use me as an instrument of His love in her patients. Holding on to Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths,” as her secret of success. What is more amazing is that her motivation every day to care for her patients is this; “I stay in love with what I do.” her patients is this; “I stay in love with what I do.”

It is true that when we love our work or our job, we are motivated to do more and improve our performance which can be seen by our clients and the management as well. Kudos to you, Ma’am Joyette. CPAC is proud of you!
