Praise God! CPAC has produced recently a Certified Public Accountant. Now we are off the anxious time when our program, Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, would be closed if CPAC could not produce a CPA by May 2022.cheapest jordan 1 adidas yeezy boost 350 custom jerseys custom baseball jersey custom basketball jerseys nike air max 90 nike air max 95 black green bay packers nike air max plus black wholesale sex toys adidas store nike air jordan 6 rings super bowl 57 nfl jersey nike air max sc leather

This ultimatum has been shared by Mrs. Christy Doroy, the dean of the School of Business and Accountancy (SBA). Few months before the scheduled examination and during the examination days, the SBA faculty, students, and the CPAC community earnestly prayed that God would let the CPAC takers pass.

God is wonderful indeed that he allowed a passer. This situation of having a passer humbles CPAC and makes CPAC to continue to trust Him and obey His will. As Paul said in Ephesians 2:8-9, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.” Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Let us now get to know better this alumna who is said to be the answer to the School of Business prayer.

Miss Cherry Deanne Gronifillo Sanggalan is the youngest and the only girl among the three children of Mr. & Mrs. Daniel Sanggalan, who are residents of Jaro, Iloilo. Cherry Deanne graduated in 2019 with two courses, Bachelor of Science in Accounting Technology (BSAT) and Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA). Not only did she graduate from the two programs, but she also received Cum Laude as an academic honor.

When she started working in 2021 at Deutsche Bank, Makati, Philippines, as a Financial Reporting Analyst, she also received the “Employee Spot Award.” It means that she is not only competent but also diligent and committed to the work given to her. Then May 2022 brought her, her family, and CPAC a tangible gift from the Lord when she passed the CPALE. Her passing of this exam was a real blessing from the Lord to CPAC, particularly in the School of Business and Accountancy. The last time CPAC had the CPALE passer was in 2017 yet and the Professional Regulation Commission is giving the schools offering BSA course five years to have CPALE passers otherwise the program would be closed.

God’s timing is always perfect! Do you believe in that?

How about asking her the secrets to her success? Let’s read her answer:

“The secret to reaching your goals is not motivation but the ability to show up even if you do not feel like it. Reaching your goals is like reaching the top of a mountain. You must accumulate small steps, hour by hour, day by day until you finally reach your destination.

I needed to balance my CPA board exam review while having a full-time job. I remember waking up around 4 or 5 a.m. every day so that I could study for at least 1 – 2 hours before logging in at work. I would do the same after work if I weren’t rendering any excessive overtime work.

When I finally had my 1-month leave for the exam, I treated the review like it was my full-time job. I scheduled what topics to study for the rest of my vacation and dedicated 8-10 hours to studying each day.

I claimed the victory even if I was still in the process of getting there. I needed to remind myself that I wasn’t alone in my journey and that God had led my life every day. With God, nothing is impossible. Knowing that fact has become a driving force in doing my best – even in small things. Because I believe in Colossians 3:23, And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. ”

Thank you, Ma’am Cherry, for sharing with us your beautiful experience of God’s goodness! May many more of our alumni would be inspired by this experience so that they too can reach their goals soon. God bless us all!
